Chattanooga Electric Bike Co. (CEBC) is a local business based in Chattanooga, Tennessee that specializes in selling and servicing electric bicycles. Their primary goal is to help people reduce their carbon footprint by providing an alternative to cars for transportation. CEBC is owned and operated by John and Diana, a husband-and-wife team who are passionate about the environment and the benefits of electric bikes.

Project Overview

CEBC approached us with the desire to improve its online presence by creating a new website that is user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing. They also wanted us to design a logo that would capture the essence of their brand and communicate their mission effectively.

The main objectives of the project were as follows:

• Develop a custom WordPress theme that is scalable and customizable
• Design a logo that reflects CEBC’s values and resonates with their target audience

Design Process

Our team began the design process by conducting research on CEBC’s industry, target audience, and competitors. We also analyzed their existing website to identify areas for improvement and to understand their content structure and functionality requirements.

After gathering the necessary information, we started to work on the logo design. We explored various concepts and styles, eventually settling on a design that incorporates a simple yet recognizable icon and typography that complements the icon. The color scheme includes shades of yellow and black, which represents electricity and John’s love for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

We decided to create a custom WordPress theme for the website to ensure that it meets CEBC’s specific requirements. We used responsive design techniques to ensure that the website looks and functions well on all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. We also incorporated a user-friendly navigation menu, prominent calls-to-action, and high-quality images to make the website visually appealing and engaging.

In addition, we optimized the website for search engines by conducting keyword research, creating high-quality content, and optimizing meta descriptions and tags. We also implemented best practices for web accessibility and ensured that the website complies with the latest web standards.

Results

The new CEBC website and logo have received positive feedback from customers and stakeholders alike. The website is now user-friendly and responsive, making it easy for visitors to browse CEBC’s products and services, book appointments, and get in touch with the team.
